This expressive new choral setting of Emily Dickinson’s poem “Hope” offers an original melody built on the Dorian mode.

It provides many opportunities for building choral skills and developing vocal literacy (phrasing, vowel placement, breath support, and the use of solfege) and a way to build harmony in beginning choirs. Commissioned in 2022 by the Vancouver CanSing Choir.
