This melody is mostly known as “The Carrion Crow” and was first discovered about 300 years ago. The change from carrion to kangaroo is a comical example of how traditional songs are handed down from singer to singer.

The Wind Will Carry My Song

Finding the message from difficult experiences and telling the story is difficult but can be empowering. These words and personal experience serve as an inspiration for writing “The Wind will Carry My Song”, a SATB choral composition.
