‘Christmas Song’ begins with a sombre mood and moves into a more uplifting sense of hope and renewal because “a little child is born.” A poem written by Canadian poet, Carmen Bliss uses beautiful imagery such as “singing bells”, “sunbeams on snow” and “the awakening heart” to celebrate the wonderful Christmas story.
