Espero Ter a Dita

The combination of the traditional Portuguese poem which expresses the longing to see Mary in heaven and Blok-Wilson’s original composition provides a compelling and meaningful addition to choral performance programs.

Its prayerful and uplifting nature makes it suitable for moments of reflection, introspection,

or as part of a larger narrative within the concert program.

The piece was commissioned by the St Patrick’s Regional High School touring choir for their summer tour to Portugal July, 2023.
