I love Emily Dickinson’s poetry and this timeless piece resonates deeply with the challenges we face in our world today.
“I Had No Time To Hate” is a great piece for any concert program including Remembrance Day and Winter holiday. The message inspires conversations about the importance of love, compassion, and unity in these trying times and choosing love over hate.
With my composition, I do hope to inspire conversations about the importance of love, compassion, and unity in these trying times and choosing love over hate.
The piece was premiered by the Vancouver Chamber Choir but also others including the Linden Singers (Victoria) and Alberta Youth Choir. In August it will be performed by Ontario Youth Choir.
