Je Suis Chez Moi
“Je Suis Chez Moi” (“I’m at Home”) is a French/English text about the feeling of being at home and at peace in nature.
As a composer, I feel a sense of harmony and tranquility when surrounded by the beauty of trees, birds, water and other elements and I know that nature has the ability to heal and soothe the soul.
“The earth is our playground” (Où la terre est mon terrain de jeu”) and by looking after our natural surroundings, we ensure that it remains a beautiful and healthy place for all to enjoy.
This is a wonderful piece for conductors and singers to rehearse and perform at Earth Day celebrations, concerts about the environment or just generally as a fine addition to any concert repertoire.
