Pomme de Reinette

I originally used the short piece in the Kodály method classroom teaching.

This SATB arrangement is meant to be a little “joke” piece-humourous and light-but it can be used for seasonal, food-oriented concerts or for just having a fun piece.

“Reinette” and “api” are apple varieties. Reinette apples are known for their tart and crisp flesh and often made into cider.

Api apples are sweeter and most often eaten fresh.
