Composer. Conductor. Music Educator.
It can be hard to find repertoire that accommodates various choral skills. Composing for groups of all ages and levels across the globe, I write music in a way that allows singers to develop a love for singing.
No matter if they’ve been singing for a long time…
…or are just getting started.
The story behind the songs
What fuels my love for singing is “musiking” with imaginative and creative singers.
This was true in my time as a full-time conductor and music educator and continues to be true now, as a full-time composer since 2018.
The compositions reflect my own love of singing, poetry, and interest in developing Canadian repertoire in a way that works well for varying choir levels.
